Lyn Krutzfeldt is Chief Executive Officer of Christenson Communities. She brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in senior living, health care, and long-term care to guide Christenson Communities in expanding its leadership presence in the Seniors Housing Industry.
Concurrently, Lyn is President of the AdvantAGE Assist Group which provides innovative models of care and services for the Christenson Group and other Seniors Living communities in Alberta.
With a reputation for developing great teams, Lyn has spearheaded a new approach to seniors care and transformed the Senior Living division of Christenson Communities into a leading provider of Seniors Housing and Care. Her teams are encouraged to focus on strategic solutions and their vision of enhancing the lives of older adults through lifestyle and residential alternatives is now recognized across the country.
Before joining Christenson Communities, Lyn served as Vice President of the Shepherds Care Foundation in Edmonton and also as the Director of Operations for Central Park Lodges where she oversaw day-to-day operations of 19 senior living communities.
Lyn is the past President of the Alzheimers Society of Alberta and NWT, and has also served 6 years as a board member of the Alzheimers Society of Canada, chairing its Fund Development Committee.
Vice President, Finance & Administration
Mr. Rojek is responsible for overseeing the finance and accounting department at Christenson Communities and for developing the company's strategy for long-term success.
With a diverse background that includes oil and gas engineering, consulting, and start-ups, Mr. Rojek has developed a well-rounded background in business, finance, and strategy formulation.
Mr. Rojek holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta, a Master of Business Administration from Queen's University, and is a Certified Management Accountant.
Manager of Clinical Quality and Education
Ms. Brackenbury leads the professional development and education efforts for clinical staff at Christenson Communities. She is responsible for clinical education as well as quality assurance, nursing leadership and mentorship programs.
Prior to joining Christenson, Ms. Brackenbury was a clinical educator and auditor for Alberta Health Services specializing in educational in-services and quality assurance in assisted living communities.
Her diverse clinical background encompasses critical care, cardiac sciences, general medicine, pediatrics, and surgical nursing.
Ms. Brackenbury attended Grant MacEwan University and University of Alberta for her Nursing degree and she is currently pursuing a degree in Health & Business Administration.
Human Resources Manager
A seasoned HR professional, Ms. Schaffer is responsible for the development, delivery and management of effective human resources programs that align with corporate objectives. She oversees a range of critical HR functions, from recruitment and retention to employee relations, development, communications and more.
A workforce champion, she is committed to organizational excellence and the implementation of leading-edge people processes.
Ms. Schaffer is a graduate of the University of Alberta and a member of the Human Resources Institute of Alberta (HRIA).

Mr. Blackie ensures our growing Bedford Village Community effectively meets the needs of over 100 Independent Living residents by focusing on resident satisfaction and personal service.
With an extensive history in the hospitality industry, Mr. Blackie utilizes his previous experience with multi-unit management, team leadership, training and program development to exceed resident expectations.
