We take this opportunity to thank and share our experience with the purchase of our new home in the adult River's Edge bungalow Villas in Cameron Heights.

We are a recently retired couple who are very active and travel extensively.  After having experienced a few health scares, we realized how sacred and short life is, so we decided a lifestyle change was in order to give us more freedom to make the best of our future.  One of the decisions was to downsize from our 2,800 square foot house to allow for more time to enjoy our life and spend more time with family, friends and travel.

We explored many options before choosing Christenson Developments.  Your advertisement of "your projects contain promising style, comfort and peace of mind with luxurious finishes, urban amenities and year round maintenance services" fit right into what we were looking for.

It was important to us to be able to live in a community that we didn't feel we were missing out on much from our previous home.  We wanted comfort to entertain friends and family in an upscale community.  A garage was important to allow us to store and work on our 1937 Chev car.  Sharing time with our grown children and our grandchildren is enhanced with beautiful walking/biking paths, along with playgrounds in a beautiful community provides activities that they will all enjoy.  Of course the addition of freedom to not worry about snow and grass issues will allow for stress free travel and much needed spare time.

We first met with Karey, who put us at ease with the purchase process.  She assisted us in brainstorming the design elements, changes or addtions to our home's detail.  Her professional communication and frequent consultation, flexibility to listen and meet with us regarding our needs on numerous occasions made our building experience a pleasurable one.  We always felt her attention and detail to us was more than our expectations.

Our home was completed earlier that we expected, and credit for this should be given to the site superintendent Bryan.  He met with us on numerous occasions as well, to ensure that our requests were being delivered in the manner that is expected of a builder.  As you know, home building can be a very confusing and sometimes a very stressful experience, which both Karey and Bryan made as easy as possible.

We want to acknowledge the workmanship, professionalism and intergrity of this company - Christenson Developments, and most of all it's employess and the sub-trades.

Community Amenities

Residents of Cameron Heights enjoy stunning views of the North Saskatchewan River to the northeast and of the Wedgewood Ravine to the northwest.

In the middle of the community lies a 15-acre park site that features a half-mile-long and 200 feet-wide trail system that connects residents to the Wedgewood Ravine.  This internal path system was one of the central features that went into the planning and design of the neighbourhood. In Cameron Heights the trail system is the centre of the community and was created to connect the community to the extensive river valley trail systems.
